We have had such an exciting and blessed week. Our daughter and s-i-l are the proud new parents of a precious baby boy. Baby J (our 20 month old grandson) seems proud of his new baby brother and loves to point out Baby Brother’s nose, mouth, ears, hair, etc.
It is such a wonderful experience holding a newborn grandbaby, and just as much the second time around. Such an awesome blessing!
INGREDIENTS:
Combine honey, lemon juice, and soy sauce. Brush half of this onto the chicken and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Baste often. Then brush on the rest of the honey mixture and bake for 35 additional minutes or until done, basting often. Makes 6 servings.

I received a coupon for a free box of Honey Kix Cereal for kids (or for kids of any age). I expected it to be the sugar-loaded, fiberless cereal that is typical of most kid’s cereals. Honey Kix, however, is not like the typical cereal and actually has 3 grams of fiber per serving, 16 grams of whole grain, and only 6 grams of sugar instead of 10 or 12. Plus, there are no artificial flavors or preservatives.
Our teenage son likes it, and I must admit that I think it tastes good, too. I even like a handful of it for a snack without milk. Like they say, it’s kid-tested, mother-approved!

I know it’s not Friday, but I just received this today for last Friday. So here goes:
#1. Sarafina’s suggestion. How far would you be willing to travel to satisfy a food craving?
Maybe 20 minutes.
#2. Have you ever eaten rabbit? What did you think?
No, and I don’t want to!!
#3. Have you ever made your own bread? How?
No, if I want fresh bread then I buy it from Central Market’s bakery. But we really don’t eat a whole lot of bread except for Ezekiel Bread.
#4. Where do you usually spend Easter and what do you usually eat?
We go to church on Sunday morning and have a family tradition of going to eat Asian food at Pei Wei. The place is not crowded at all on Easter. (We are so busy on Easter weekend with LTC youth group activities which involves Friday afternoon and evening and the majority of Saturday from early in the morning until evening, so I don’t even try to cook Easter dinner.)
I wonder what it would be like to have a sleep number bed with adjustable heights and also massage. Sure seems like a great way to get a good night’s sleep. I also like the idea of side by side adjustable beds where you can have the bed adjusted like you want it, and your spouse can do likewise. And the Electric Adjustable Mattress with relaxation massage to soothe tired muscles sounds awesome, like a wonderful way to get a great night’s sleep.
Easter is a joyful time of year, when many people remember how Jesus, God’s only son, died on the cross for our sins, was resurrected from the dead and came back to life on the third day. It is a happy time for Christians on Easter and every day because of the relationship they have with Jesus.
Easter eggs have symbolized new life for hundreds of years. They make me think of how we have new life when we become a Christian. This is something I think about often and not just at Easter.
Easter is a time when a lot of families get together for Easter dinner, to hunt Easter eggs, and to enjoy being together. In case you need to refer to any of these Easter posts, here they are for easy access:
