This makes delicious hot chocolate to have during the holidays!
- 1 cup milk (we use 1% or 2% milk)
- 2 tablespoons Hershey’s Cocoa
- 2 tablespoons sugar (or 1/2 sugar & 1/2 Stevia equivalent)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- dash salt
- Canned Light Whipped Cream
Heat milk in the microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. (I use a microwave-proof mug.) Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Top with whipped cream.
I tried this one at home. I loved it! ? I guess the dash of salt gave it a kick. Some adds a dash of ginger also instead of salt. I haven’t tried that yet, but we’ll see… I have been a coffee lover ever since whenever but this sure gives me another great option.
I’m making this this weekend for the family, the kids read over the recipe and said it sounds delicious, especially now that it’s getting colder here in MN.
