I have a favor to ask. There’s something new on my home page now. If you look to the right, there is a free “Subscribe” section. You can now subscribe to my posts via your email. You will only receive one email on days I post articles. I am trying to build up my Subscribe list, and I would greatly appreciate any subscriptions. Above you see my business card that I actually designed. It was fun to create and choose my own logo, font, colors, and design to match my site. It was quick and easy, too. First, I chose the image I wanted to create. Then I chose the logo design from a wide selection of logos. I simply typed in the name and words I wanted on my card and arranged things where I wanted them. There was so much flexibility in the process. I changed my mind several times until I got it just the way I wanted it and ended up with a quality design that suited me.

Anyone involved in blogging is probably interested to see what their Alexa Rank is for their blog. The rank usually updates weekly, and I’m always curious to see my rank every week.

I feel that I have neglected my site a little since Christmas. There are so many ideas I have in mind for my blog, but other things keep coming up that I have to do and they distract me. Hopefully, things will settle down and I can implement all my ideas soon. I have just started adding pictures and hope to keep including pictures in some of my posts on a regular basis.

I had a message that was left on “Contact” up at the top of my blog about how to make a comment. There may be other people, too, who aren’t sure how to leave comments. Below each post (article), there is the word, “Comments,” written in blue letters. Click on that word and it will bring up a comment box where you can type in your message or opinion. After typing the comment, then click on the word, “Submit.” I appreciate comments and hearing from you, so please leave a comment if you have the time.

Fun, Crafts and Recipes is having a contest and giving away “Dad’s Own Cookbook,” written by a professional chef, as the prize. Check out all the different ways you can be entered into the drawing.

Lori, at My Wooden Spoon, has a “New Recipe Submission”. You can submit a recipe to her, and she will feature it on her blog. You don’t have to have a blog to submit recipes. Anybody can! And the neat thing about it is that she will randomly draw from the submitters to win $10 via Paypal. ( so you will need a Paypal account) This sounds like fun and a great way to get some new recipes!

Firefox is a free web browser. If you don’t have it, I recommend that you download it on your computer. It has two great add-ons that you can download for free called “Search Status” and “Sparky.” I highly recommend both of these which were recommended to me by someone I know very well.  They’re especially good to have if you blog or if you visit other blogs.
