Elizabeth is having another contest at Table 4 Five which ends tomorrow due to it being the last day to mail packages to assure delivery before Christmas. She’s giving away a great game called The Christmas Box of Questions. It’s great for starting conversations and getting to know more about the people you’re playing with. What a great game for everybody to play!

Mom Reviews is having a contest and will be giving away two copies of the extended edition of High School Musical 2. Go check it out ASAP. Contest ends either tomorrow or Monday, depending on how many responses she gets.

Fun, Crafts and Recipes is having a contest and giving away “Dad’s Own Cookbook,” written by a professional chef, as the prize. Check out all the different ways you can be entered into the drawing.

Lori, at My Wooden Spoon, has a “New Recipe Submission”. You can submit a recipe to her, and she will feature it on her blog. You don’t have to have a blog to submit recipes. Anybody can! And the neat thing about it is that she will randomly draw from the submitters to win $10 via Paypal. ( so you will need a Paypal account) This sounds like fun and a great way to get some new recipes!

Firefox is a free web browser. If you don’t have it, I recommend that you download it on your computer. It has two great add-ons that you can download for free called “Search Status” and “Sparky.” I highly recommend both of these which were recommended to me by someone I know very well.  They’re especially good to have if you blog or if you visit other blogs.

Yeah!!  I am so excited to be approved for PayPerPost. After I started my blog, I knew that as soon as my ninety-day waiting period was up, I wanted to apply for payperpost.   In fact, I applied the very day my ninety days were completed.  After that, I would check my email daily to see if I had been approved.  Yesterday, when I found out that I had been approved, I told my whole family and emailed my daughter.  They all knew I was eager to start with PayPerPost.  If you are new to blogging and wonder why I’m so excited, it’s because I’ve read and talked to experienced bloggers who say that it’s the best way to earn money from sponsored posts.  All of the blogs I’ve visited that are doing really well with their site have PayPerPost sponsored posts.   On my blog, I get to write about things that I enjoy writing about and get paid at the same time.  And I also not only get to work from home and have a flexible schedule, but I get to make new friends as well.  There are a lot of really nice people out there, and it’s fun commenting and emailing each other.  I  also learn things from reading their posts.   I’m still new at blogging, but people are helpful and encouraging.

So…what do I plan to do with the money I make?  I plan to give some to the Benevolent Center where I do volunteer work on Monday and Tuesday mornings.  And I would love to take a vacation to Colorado next summer.  I’ll probably be saving up for that. 

Have you noticed the neat website clock on my site? I really like having it on my home page. If I get busy working and lose track of time, it’s real handy to have the clock right there, easy to see and convenient. And if somebody is visiting my site, then they have a clock handy, too, just in case they need to keep track of the time.
