This song is dedicated to those who feel all alone, to those experiencing troubled relationships, to those with health problems, to those going through recovery, to those feeling overwhelmed by responsibility, and to those like me who just need to be reminded from time to time!   He is always with us and He lights up the sky!

I think this song is so beautiful!  I actually got tears in my eyes when I first watched this.  Maybe part of the reason that it touched me so much is that my husband and I work with a ministry at church that helps those trying to overcome drug and alcohol addiction.  Some have been in jail or prison, some homeless at one time, some had good jobs but lost them due to their addiction.  The church offers a 12-step Bible based recovery class for them, and it is so beautiful to see those who feel they have no hope left in life turn their lives around and find hope in Jesus.  So this song reminds me of them and also of myself and everyone who needs Jesus!

What is true love?  This beautiful song sums it up completely, and the basis for it is 1 Corinthians 13, often called the “Love Chapter.”

Sometimes as humans we may feel like our life is a mess, or we might feel alone, or maybe we’ve let opportunities slip by or made mistakes that we regret, maybe we feel that circumstances are just too much to bear.   Times are hard for a lot of people right now and sometimes life just gets us down and there doesn’t seem to be much hope…but there is hope!
