Depends. I like comfort foods that remind me of foods I had while growing up like fried okra, squash, potatoes. (fresh veggies)

Kitchen shears!
#4. Share a time saving tip.
I use my kitchen shears to cut up chicken breast into chicken nuggets.
Here is a good tip I found out about recently:
Boil eggs, then cool. Place cooked egg yolks in a ziplock bag and seal. Mash yolks well and then add the remaining ingredients, seal, and mash until mixed thoroughly. Cut off the tip of one corner of the bag. Squeeze mixture into eggs. Throw away the bag for easy clean-up.

My mother-in-law has been back home for three weeks now from her trip to Texas to visit us. I wish she were close so we could go shopping, sit on the porch and drink coffee or tea and talk, or go out for lunch and talk in person. Being over 800 miles away makes it impossible to do that on the spur of the moment. She was able to come visit us because my husband found a great deal on airline tickets.

It’s amazing how many business transactions we can carry on in the privacy of our own homes, wearing our pajamas if we want to. We can complete banking and credit card transactions, shop online and buy just about any type of merchandise, and in some places order groceries and have them delivered. People can buy stock from companies such as Transworld Futures, an online futures broker. Most people probably didn’t realize twenty years ago what all we would be able to do on the computer in the future. I know I didn’t!
Wouldn’t it be fun to have a jet charter and take the whole family, relatives, and close friends on a trip to anywhere in the world? I imagine that doesn’t happen every day, but there are people who do fly often on private jets for business purposes. Many businesses rely on this type of travel. As for me, I guess I will just dream about it.
My flower garden is in need of work. I have worked in the front yard flower beds and they’re OK. But our back yard definitely needs improvement. Our Crepe Myrtle trees need to be trimmed as well as some other things. It has been so dry here in Texas that the trees are not blooming as much, and neither are the Canna lilies. The Day lilies are not blooming at all. Maybe I need some garden decor to brighten up my backyard?
We went to an outside wedding this past Saturday evening and guess what happened! You’re right, it rained. Just as the bride was coming down the aisle, it started raining harder and all the guests had to go inside and squeeze inside this old, charming, beautiful two story home that had been turned into a bed and breakfast. When the rain let up, everyone went back outside and the wedding ceremony proceeded in the outdoor wedding chapel.
It’s definitely the time of year to be thinking of weddings and diamond rings. Hopefully, for those who have planned outside weddings, the weather will be beautiful and clear!
