Trying to cut back on sweets but have a craving for chocolate cake? Instead of baking a whole cake, try making this small cake in the microwave.
VERSION ONE INGREDIENTS:
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 3 tablespoons oil
VERSION TWO INGREDIENTS – LOWER FAT:
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons vanilla yogurt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons oil
FOR BOTH VERSIONS:
Mix dry ingredients in a large mug. Stir in 1 egg. Add milk OR yogurt. Stir. Add in oil and mix well. Microwave 3 minutes on maximum power. Let the cake finish rising. Tip mug over a plate, and the cake will come out. Enjoy!
What a great idea…when I feel like a chocky fix then Ill make your cake in a cup.
This recipe sounds really good!! I’m going to be trying it the next time I’m needing a chocolate fix. Thanks!
This sounds amazing and so easy! I will have to try that soon, especially since I’m the only chocolate-lover in the house.
That sounds really good-I need to stay off here when I am hungry!! I want to go fix this now!!
What a great idea! We just ate a Carrabas or whatever it is called and they were introducing a new dessert that was a bit bigger than a shot glass. I think it is a good idea to have smaller desserts. Thanks for the great recipe.
Wow wonderful pudding and so quick to do cook a real treat
