My mother-in-law collected dishes from thrift stores and antique stores.  She really enjoyed looking at dishes and I guess going with her to look at dishes inspired me to collect some of my own.  I collected a few covered candy dishes years ago, and I really like them for candy, nuts, or anything that is small, looks good in a glass dish, and needs to be covered. In this picture, one has pecans in it, another has pistachio nuts, and I don’t remember what the third dish has in it, maybe walnuts.
