Have you ever been through Kentucky? We have, a long time ago. I remember that area being really pretty with lots of trees and hills. I imagine the louisville homes are in a nice area although it’s been over thirty years since we’ve been to that part of Kentucky. Being located on the famous Ohio River, there would be lots to do and see. I’ve read that Louisville is a big city with a small town feel to it. I like that!
Most of us have probably heard about young children accidentally falling into swimming pools. Those are such tragic accidents! If we had a swimming pool, I would definitely want something to cover pool, such as a pool cover safety net, if we had young children around and no one was swimming. All it takes for an accident to happen is for a supervising adult to get distracted, even if it’s just for a few minutes. A pool cover would be worth it to me for the peace of mind.
Concern about so many Americans being overweight has been in the news for a long time. There are all sorts of diets and various forms of advice on how to lose weight on the market. It’s time for me to make an appointment for a check-up with my doctor, so I called yesterday and made an appointment for next month. I don’t have very good health insurance through the school right now and have to pay a lot more than the $30 co-pay I was used to paying before. When you get to thinking about all of the overhead costs that doctors have nowadays, though, like malpractice insurance, property insurance with liability, utilities, wages for their employees, rent or mortgage payments, payments on equipment, etc., no wonder doctors have to charge so much for office calls.
Time is going by so fast that Father’s Day will be here before we know it. I have no idea what to get my husband. What I need to do is be observant between now and then and see if I can find out what to get him that he would really like to have. I still have several weeks, so maybe between now and then I can get some ideas.
Many people are looking for jobs these days, and many are taking jobs that are in fields different from what their major fields of study were in college. Some are taking kroger jobs, some are going back to school to get more training, and some are starting up their own businesses and providing jobs for themselves and others. In this economy, people have to be willing to be flexible.
Years ago, I rarely ordered anything online. Now, we regularly order vitamins and supplements, gift items, water filters, and other things through the Internet. Probably, just about everything is available to purchase online. People can buy buy gold online, furniture, gazebos, and even vehicles online, and I even read where people can order mail order houses that they assemble themselves. Things have really changed in the last couple of decades!
It’s that time of year when a lot of people will be getting tax refunds and using their refunds for all sorts of things like maybe remodeling their house, paying on college tuition or on some needed project, etc. Some people might be getting car title loans Virginia to fund a project or maybe even to make a down payment on something important. With any type of loan, people need to plan and make sure the loan payments fit into their budget. Using a tax refund is great, when possible.
Some people have a special attachment to animals. They just really enjoy being around them, playing with them, and taking care of them. Veterinary Services Jobs would be something they would probably have a natural interest in and aptitude for doing. There are certainly plenty of pets in our neighborhood, as I’m sure there are in most of the neighborhoods in our country. These pets need veterinary services on a fairly regular basis, so I would think there are jobs available right now in this field. Anyone needing a job who has a love of animals might consider this in their list of job prospects.
These siblings, all young teenagers at the time of this video, have a heart for God and taught themselves how to harmonize. When Chris Tomlin heard them sing his song, Jesus Messiah, on YouTube then he invited them to sing onstage with him at one of his concerts. These amazing kids are called “Daves Highway.”
