I was remembering back to when we had our first baby. The labor room was a sterile, completely white room. There was a nurse who would come in and often right in the middle of a hard contraction she would put a blood pressure monitor cuff around my arm (she apparently had never had a baby). I was using the Lamaze method of childbirth, had really bad back labor, and was not happy at all with that nurse or Mr. Lamaze. It was all worth it, though, because we had a beautiful, healthy baby girl!
