Acne is such a pain. I don’t know of very many people that haven’t had a problem with it at some point in their life. I know I had a problem with it and remember having to go to the dermatologist when I was in high school.
There are some things we can do to help our skin, whether we have acne or not, such as eating:
- a healthy, high-fiber diet
- raw fruits and veggies
- almonds and cashews which contain oxalic acid
- whole grains
- sunflower seeds
- grapes, strawberries, and pineapple because they’re high in alpha-hydroxy acids
Drinking eight glasses of water per day is great, too.
A lot of people use topical solutions to help their skin. Some people work on blackhead removal. Whatever they use, they should research various products to find what works for them.
