Our daughter works with Multimedia Software at her new job. She is so creatively gifted, and enjoys being able to use her creative talents where she works. Now that I’m teaching full time, there is not the time nor do I have the energy for much shopping.  My husband helps with the grocery shopping and that helps a lot!  I did manage to squeeze in an hour of shopping recently so I could use a gift card that I received for Christmas.  It was fun shopping for a short time.  I didn’t look for women’s singlets but looked for pants and jeans.

One thing that I don’t like about shopping anymore is the part where I have to try on clothes and then go get a different size. I must have tried on a dozen pair of khaki pants and jeans before I finally found a pair of jeans that fit the way I want them to, and so I got those. There are some khaki pants that I might get in the future. But I don’t want to try on clothes at the store anytime soon. How about you?

There are many ways people invest nowadays from the stock market to other different types of investments.  I’ve heard several commercials about gold being a good investment, and I’ve seen where you can buy gold online.  Whenever it comes to investing, I want something that’s not risky and a sound investment.  Nothing is 100% for sure since no one knows what will happen in the economy or world events, though, but there are some investments that are more stable than others.  Those are the kind I like!

As you probably figured out, Elle @ Midwest Elle lives in the Midwest.  She and her husband have a precious daughter who is 1 1/2 years old and was born with a congenital heart defect.  Elle loves dance but her new goal in life is to work with children who have heart defects and their families.  On her blog, she features crafts, recipes, reviews, and her experiences with potty training.
